Anna Bofill Levi

PhD Architect and music composer. Since 1966, she has collaborated with Taller d’Arquitectura-Bofill for more than 15 years, on projects such as Walden 7, Le Lac and Antigone. In 1981, she set up her own studio where she has carried out projects and works especially for public institutions. Amongst these project,  it is possible to highlight the Escuela integral de Enseñanzas Artísticas in Tàrrega (Lleida); the social housing building in Plaça Sant Agustí Vell, the Ernest Lluch Institute and the Renfe local train station in Plaça de Catalunya, in Barcelona. In France, the housing complexes La Pérgola and Les Portes de la mer, in Perpignan; and the 100 social housing project Le Manet, in Paris.

She has taught at the Escuela de Arquitectura del Vallés (for five years) and has lectured at numerous schools in Europe, the United States and Latin America. Researcher in architecture, urbanism and gender, with publications by the Generalitat de Catalunya and European Institutions.

She has participated in and led research projects in Europe and Spain, focusing on urban planning, and gender issues and is a collaborator of the Generalitat de Catalunya, other autonomous regions and municipalities on these issues.
